Islington Borough Council

Islington Council is a borough council in north London that has an estimated population of 200,000 and provides 600 different services to residents and business in the local area including: schools and childcare; housing and social care; leisure centres and libraries; rubbish and recycling collections; community safety services and many more.

As a key component of the overall marketing of its events Islington Council required a web site that was very simple for visitors to find an event right for them as well as being easy for both Islington and its service providers to administrate. With the Government cutbacks every council is finding innovate ways to reduce spending whilst trying to maintain the same levels of service.
